Review: Polished London Nail Enamel in Buckingham Blue

Today a whole bunch of nail lacquers landed in my mailbox. How excitement! :) Mum is also excited, as is my friend Rachael, but that's another story.

So the first I decided to try out was from Polished London, from their latest Spring/Summer collection, and the colour is Buckingham Blue.

I am so disappointed in this polish I can't even bear to swatch it. I had 3 goes at trying to apply it without looking like a 4 year old did it, and I also got my Mum to attempt to apply it, and no beuno. The brush isn't very good quality, and it's kinda gluggy. However, I am going to persevere with it and keep trying because it's such a fun colour, and great for parties.

Update: Finally got it to work with me. I tried one thick coat as opposed to two thin (I know, bad) and it turned out alright. Quite impressed :)

What's in my makeup bag?

Its a rainy dreary day… so I thought I’d write about what’s in my makeup bag. And by that I mean, when I leave the house. If we did one on my actual kit, we’d be here forever…

I’m not a massive fan of carrying around 451 different lipsticks and 342 different liners, but I do carry a selection…

In my bag you’ll find..

* The Body Shop 100% Natural Lip Roll On in Berry (it’s not ultra moisturising, but gives a lovely shine and it smells nice too :) )

* Burts Bees Honey Lip Balm (this is often on my desk and not in my bag though)

* The Body Shop Almond Oil Intensive Hand Rescue (HG Hand cream)

* YSL Rouge Volupte gloss in 04 (I forget the colour name)

* Clinique Chubby Stick in Chunky Cherry

* ELF pressed powder (It doesn't matter if I drop it)

* Face of Australia concealer in warm (in my main kit I have Benefit Boi-ing but it’s too messy for out and about touch ups)

And of course mirror, tissues, etc etc.
